Btw, if you've never heard the song "No Children" by them, LISTEN TO IT. Really. I love that their music is so upbeat and the lyrics are so sad (which Colbert makes note of right off the bat). Love it.

Also, Colbert is streaming the entire The Mountain Goats' new album on his website for the next 24 hours. Nice. Somethin to listen to while I play WoW. Yes, I think I'm going to pump myself with caffiene and play WoW all night. What's stopping me, anyway?

Ok, may be inappropriate, but I pretty much loled at haunted house that portrayed dead celebrities the way they did... But if they portrayed McNair like that, I'm REALLY curious as to how they portrayed the others... Also, ploy to attract more business?

I suppose it is a bit concerning that children are obese and this does not alarm parents as much as children that are a little bit underweight.. But then again, with parents who can't read growth charts, is it really that surprising?

Pressure is sorta near the temples, feels like my had is bein squeezed. And ears pop a lot when I move my jaw. Jaw moving also hurts the same part in head where I'm feeling pressure. Woke up this morning with sore throat when I talk. But I haven't talked since Brian left (out loud) so not really sure if it's still sore or not.

Also strange, for about 15 mins this morning, there was a helicopter flying around here, then hovering in the same spot. Kinda freaked me out. There are a few banks and a costco over by where the helicopter was, wondering what was going on...

Dolichocephaloids - crazy, right? My vote is on the purposely distorted skulls by binding them as babies. And it's interesting, I didn't think of breast augmentation as a deformity, comparable to foot binding. But really, they are pretty much the same thing. Distorting your body in a culture where these things are highly valued- whether it be tiny feet or big breasts. Interesting.

I don't know what to do. With life. I feel like a failure. I've been told I'm not, but I can't help what I feel. Then I'm told I'm depressed, well sure I am, I feel like a failure, why wouldn't that make you depressed. Bleh.. I was thinking of applying to this internship.. It sounds exactly like Sea-to-See. I'd have to work on getting the materials together, I'll think about it. I also sent an email to find out about these internships, there are more than a couple of areas there I'd be interested in.

If I get sick I'm gonna be really pissed off. Also, I've been getting a bit of acne/dry skin. Something in my skin is just off. I need to figure out how to fix that. See, you can see it in these pictures, I'm sure the make-up doesn't do much good for my skin either...

I had the weekend to myself. I chickened on having Phil come visit. It was my grandma's bday too, I feel bad for not going to S. Fla, but I had to take care of Halle up here anyway. I went to Bailey's doggie bday on Friday afternoon, driving to and from Kennesaw was an ordeal... Wallyball Saturday morning. Almost didn't go cause I woke up coughing some stuff up, but I made it there. I hadn't even played volleyball since high school, but Wallyball sounded like fun, and I need to get active. I spent a while just kinda watching the ball, and a bit intimidated by all the players that are just so aggressive when it comes to hitting the ball. Finally a guy gave me some tips that really helped, especially with serving underhand. But I need to learn to serve overhand. And I need to work on the hand eye coordination... Later that day, I tried to go to Rob's rock wall thing at Dick's sporting goods, but apparently they closed the walls at their stores. He had even called them a week before and they hadn't told him anything like that. So it was a bust. But I was pretty proud of myself for getting to the place without getting lost. Too bad I had to pay the toll twice. I went back home, did some stuff, killed time, played with Halle, etc. Party at Mike's was last night, so I went to that too. I guess I had a pretty good time, especially when we broke out the "Apples to Apples". Too bad I couldn't drink too much, you know, having to drive, but I didn't leave until about 1:30am. Today I just went to the dog park after I had joined a meetup group that said they were going. I saw a few of the members there, but, it wasn't really much of a meetup.. It was just another day at the dog park. But they are supposed to plan some hikes to do with the dogs, so that might be cool. Now I'm just tired, probably from last night. Halle is sleeping happily on the floor. And now, for some links/pictures....

Went to the packaging plant. Didn't get lost today. Infact, was there a half hour early. I guess that makes up for the half hour late yesterday after getting so terribly lost... I made my dad's ant bait, liquid and gel, measured out all the stuff and mixed it and all. And helped to fill the syringes. I felt like I was in an episode of "How's it Made". Finished mega early today, 11am. Went home, changed out of the sticky clothing, went grocery shopping, went to the dog park, spent a wopping 3 and a half hours there, came home, started dinner. Dinner was delicious. I made burgers. And carmelized onions. It was really good, if I do say so myself. I am sad I missed out on the Zoo today. Maybe next week. For once, I wasn't excited when he came home. I had a great day, up til then, and it kinda got ruined. Or rather, he ruined it. *sigh*

Going to the Bitterball on Saturday night.. How appropriate.

I'm looking forward to going to the dog park again tomorrow, Halle met a dog she really got along with today, an American Eskimo named "Pup" and they played almost non stop for like 2 hours. His owner said he'd come back tomorrow, so that should be fun.
